New Coins System & Thanks & New Posting Rules

Penguin Island Coins

I have some very exciting news, everyone can earn coins very easily on these forums. I have made a cool system. Each person who joins the forums start out with 0 Coins. You may notice the coin icon in your profile. To earn coins all you have to do is post. Each post you make on the forums you can earn 2 coin per post. Each New Topic can get you 5 coins per topic. This is a great way for user to keep posting and keeping Penguin Island Active. We have added a special bonus: Everyday since you joined you will gain 10 coins per day. So if you joined 2 days ago you may have 20 coins already.

I have added a friends feature on the forums as well. If you add a friend or receive a friend invite, you will get 50 coins per friend per time. This can add up a lot. To add a friend go to your profile, and under friends & foes you can add a friend there.

Penguin Island now has profile comment. For each profile comment you make, you will gain 20 coins. I can't wait for this system to start working, because of this there will be no more coin contests, but you may still make shops. I will transfer the coins for you. Remember 100,000 coins could get you real 100,000 coins for your penguin.

Currently the limit is 999 coins, but that will be fixed soon. So make sure when making a store dont make the price past 500.

Reputation and Thanks:

I have added a very cool way to keep your reputation high on penguin island. Each post someone makes you can vote if it was a good post or not. There is a +|- under the image. If you click the + that persons reputation will go up 3 points, and turn Green. If you click the - that person will go down 2 points, and turn Red. Everyone here has started out with 0 points. Getting your points high will allow you to become moderator and other staff, DO NOT cheat, if I see you cheats at this you will get an infraction and be banned for a week, no exceptions.

Thanks Button:
- Enable the "Thank You" option : This option will display a button "thanks" in the topic that you started, and you can click it once by topic if you feel that the reply given by the member is the most relevant. If you have used the thanks button the points will go up 5 points.

New Posting Tips:
We here at Penguin Island have maximized the most out of your posting experience. We have added a new feature called multi-quotes. This will allow you to quote more than one person. Once you have clicked it, a little green light bulb will appear. When you are ready, click reply, and all those quotes will appear.

When posting DO NOT post "lol" or "cool" These posts are considered spam. If I catch you or one of my staff catch you, you could recieve an infraction. Also if you haven't read the rules, please do so now.

I have updated the coins to getting 10 per day. So you might noticed that you coins have gone up a lot. I have made it now 2 coins per post, and 5 coins per new topic. If you have the max, head over to the Penguin Island savings bank.
