Trouble adding Audio

Hey guys,
Im making new videos but im having trouble adding audio. I don't have speakers but you can plug in earphones into the computer. When I used hypercam 2 (record sound checked) and I record. I click play nothing comes out other than static.

Help? If anyone would like to add audio to the video it is appreciated and all Copyrights are responsible to me.

well if you have windows movie maker and mp3 rocket just download the song off mp3 rocket and import it while making your video in windows movie maker thats what i do it works

MP3 Rocket is great. Although they do not have the music I need.
